Electronic invoices have become a popular and effective alternative to traditional paper invoices.

The electronic invoice system is considered an important step in modernizing the accounting and financial processes of companies and individuals. In this article, we will take an overview of how to join the electronic invoice system.

How to join the electronic invoice system? What are the required documents?

First step: registration

Data needed to register on the electronic invoice system:

  • Company tax registration number
  • Company email
  • Phone number – the company’s mobile phone
  • Name of the company’s commissioner (in Arabic and English)
  • The commissioner’s national number
  • The commissioner’s mobile number
  • Commissioner’s email.

After preparing the necessary data for registration on the system, the taxpayer takes the following steps:

1 - Go to the tax office to which the taxpayer belongs and submit the authorization, which must be certified by the company with a bank signature, or submit a copy of the official authorization from the company owner.

2-The taxpayer receives a copy of the authorization stamped with the tax office’s stamp.

3-Send an email to the tax office to which the taxpayer belongs, attaching a copy of the authorization stamped by the tax office, a copy of the tax registration certificate, and a copy of the commissioner’s national ID card, to one of the following emails:

Senior Taxpayers Center: eInvoice@eta.gov.eg

Mid-Senior Taxpayers Center: MTC-einv@eta.gov.eg

Center for senior liberal professions: LPC-einv@eta.gov.eg

4-The invitation is sent to the Commissioner’s email from the date of submitting the authorization, and the email is sent with a special link to complete the registration process and create the user profile.

In case of facing a problem regarding accepting the invitation to register the taxpayer on the system or any inquiry regarding registration, the taxpayer will send the problem to the following email: einvoice_support@efinance.com.eg

Second step: electronic signature

The electronic signature is the official signature of the taxpayer, and takes the form of an encrypted message, consistent with legal regulations, and you can get an electronic signature from 4 companies:
1- Egypt Trust
2-MCDR
3- Fixed Misr
4- El-Delta

Documents required for electronic signature (originals of all documents must be presented for review):

  • A copy of the official extract of the commercial registry/or the establishment/announcement decision.
  • A copy of the tax card.
  • A copy of the investment or companies newspaper or the company contract.
  • A copy of the identity proof of the responsible manager.

Third Step: Create the user profile for the system administrator

By entering the data in the profile completion screen, which is:

  • First name in Arabic and English.
  • The second name in Arabic and English.
  • National ID.
  • E-mail.
  • Phone number.
  • Preferred language of communication.

After entering the registration data; A message will arrive on your mobile phone containing a one-time password (OTP), you must enter that word and confirm it.

Next comes the step of reading and agreeing to the terms and conditions, then setting the system’s alerts.

Fourth Step: Integrate or register your Pulsar ERP system on the Egyptian tax system ETA

After registering in the electronic invoice system, you will be able to send your electronic invoices arising from the sales transactions that took place at each of your points of sale (your store) to the Egyptian tax system ЕТА through the Pulsar ERP system at the correct time and with ease.
