Who doesn't like sell-outs? Both customers, who buy goods at a best price, and store owners, who receive money for new purchases, love them.
Making a discount before selling
During sell-outs it is important to prevent errors in order to avoid losses!
If you want to prevent mistakes, we recommend making a discount before selling. Why is it better?
- The seller may make a mistake when calculating the discount and sell the goods much cheaper.
- It is easy to confuse and sell products below the price because the cashier is unaware of those prices
- The seller may be unreliable and take some of the money for themselves. They can sell the product at a 20% discount, and tell the business owner that they only sell for 40%.
What is it best for sell-outs?
Everything is simple. You can assign discounts through your PSR personal account. Let's have a closer look. For example, starting from tomorrow, discounts on dresses will be 30%. In the PSR personal account, you can set new prices for the entire “Dresses” category in just a few minutes.
- Create a “Price change” document and add a product from the “Dresses” category.
- Specify how you want to change the sale price. In our example, it is "30% cheaper". The program will automatically calculate new prices and even round them up to the whole numbers.
- Save the document. The data on the cash registers will be updated within a few minutes.
- Print out the price tags for the product. The old prices without a discount will be crossed out, and the new ones with a discount will be highlighted in a bright color to attract the buyer's attention.
- Now, when selling a Dress, your cashier won’t be able to confuse the prices. The cashier will display the discounted price automatically.
And if you come across a client who knows how to bargain, you can give them an additional discount at the checkout when selling an item.
